Day 9 – Going Home

Where did the time go? Was I really in Peru for 8 days?

One of the best parts about this trip was the fact that we all had our trip guides which had sections for us to use as journals. I used to keep a diary as a kid, but I think we all get out of that habit as adults unless we are “writers” and just feel the need to write to unpack our thoughts and emotions.  Continue reading

Day 1 – Meet the Team at Concourse J

The adventure begins!

I was fortunate enough to be on Delta’s first nonstop flight from Indianapolis to Miami at 8:50 on June 6th! Funny how God works out small details like that. I’ve never been to the Miami airport, and it’s massive so I was pleased when I disembarked and found that my bags and the Avianca counter were on exactly the same concourse! Once I checked in to my Avianca flight to Lima, I headed down Concourse J to find lunch and the other wonderful sponsors with whom I would be spending the week. Continue reading
