Day 2 – Travel to the Highlands

Sunday, June 7th.

Part of our group left at 5:45 AM (!) to head to the airport to travel to Huancayo. After breakfast, the rest of us met at 9:30 for worship and devotions on the 3rd floor terrace. Hello, all!

I don’t fancy myself a writer. In fact, I don’t write much, but I can’t just post pictures and relay all the stories in person to everyone so I felt I needed a blog to better explain pictures and the real stories of what I experienced in Peru with Compassion International on a sponsor tour.

I hope you all enjoy reading the stories and that I relay them with the clarity and detail they deserve!
